BBQ / Seafood Boil
Cooking over a wood fire is the oldest way of preparing food and speaks to me in a soul filled way. Barbecuing on the weekends and experimenting with food was one of the reasons I pushed myself to become a chef.
My family raised wild hogs and hunted a lot when I was a teenager in Southern Florida. This experience taught me about whole animal butchery and fueled my passion for treating every part of the animal with the utmost of respect.
I even worked in a smoke house called the Knotty Pine in Victor, Idaho for a while just to gain more experience with the tradition. I have studied many Barbecue styles from all over the states and the world and enjoy sharing this experience with people.
Seafood boils are downright fun and is a great way to commune with friends and family over the bounty of the sea. I love to respect this world wide tradition by using the best ingredients possible. We use many local purveyors including Seattle Fish, Seafood Landing, Tonali's Meats, Northeast Seafoods, and many more to ensure we have the freshest products available.
As with everything else we do... Our Backyard Barbecues and Seafood Boils are a step above the rest!
We own a large Smoker/ Grill (extra fee to provide) and Seafood Boil Equipment, plus Tables, Chairs, and Cocktail Coolers that we can bring along.
